	Troika is a movie presenting the drama of the societies led by totalitarian regimes and the invisible violence they are subject to. The movie is based on a stenogram found in a German library in 1990 and written by Stalin and Churchill, describing how they divided the influence areas in the Eastern Europe after the World War II (influence areas as follows: Romania: Russia â€“ 90%, the others (i.e. USA and UK) 10%; Greek : UK (in agreement with USA) â€“ 90%, Russia â€“ 10%; Yugoslavia: 50% - 50%; Hungary: 50% - 50%; Bulgaria: Russia â€“ 75%, the others â€“ 25%.). The countries that remained under the Russian sphere of influence had to endure for more the 50 years the horrors of the communist system dictated from Moscow, which claimed millions of victims. The movie presents the three big world leaders (Stalin, Churchill, Roosevelt) playing RISK (that strategy game, where the winner is the one who manages to conquer the entire world), thus emphasizing the brutal, violent way of doing politics while disregarding the opinion and the will of the masses, out of an acute need for personal supremacy, a way that has perpetuated itself to our days. There is a consensus among the theoreticians of the political phenomenon, who â€œadmit that violence is nothing more than the most obvious display of powerâ€. C. Wright Mills said that â€œall politics is a struggle for power; the ultimate kind of power is violenceâ€. This is an extension of the definition of the state, given by Max Weber â€“ â€œa relation of men dominating men, a relation supported by means of legitimate (i.e. considered to be legitimate) violenceâ€. By equating politics with â€œthe organization of violenceâ€, we define the state as an oppression instrument in the hands of the ruling class. As a result, men no longer have any power over their destiny and someone else decides in their place. The action takes place on a scene of an empty theatre, an absurd play extracted from the reality, thus amplifying the mystery of what lies behind the curtains, who writes the play of our destinies and especially how this play is constructed.... Oscar Wild said: â€œgive the man a mask, and he will tell you the truthâ€, but the characters of this movie, as history has proven, managed to show their real face without the need for a mask, but only for a very well developed cult of their own personalityâ€¦ Troika, the project title, is a word coming from Russian and means a sledge pulled by three horses, thus making reference to the meeting of the three men who changed the look of the world.
