	Cowboy Claude Henry was married to Toni Jo Henry. The story of Cowboy Claude and Toni Jo Henry is one of love and tragedy. They were a pair of star crossed lovers. Their fate was to die in tragedy. Toni Jo Henry was the only woman executed in the electric chair in Louisiana. Intent upon breaking her husband, out of jail, Toni Jo stole a car from a man named Joseph Calloway; afterwards she forced Calloway to strip, then shot him in the head. Deserted and distraught, Toni Jo inexplicably confessed to the police before the crime had even been reported. The murder took place on February 14, Valentine's Day, 1940. Toni Jo was executed on Sunday, November 28, 1942. She was 26 years old. For her execution she had chosen a plain black dress and black pumps and was said to have cried when her head was shaved. Her last request was that a crucifix be left in her hand when she was buried.
