	"Labels" is an audiovisual installation about the construction of identity through verbal language, from the self-concept and from the definition through otherness. In these videos, I use labels that serve as containers for different adjectives, in order to represent my identity through the word. The installation consists of two projections: in one of them, I hook myself labels whose adjectives I have chosen about myself -prior to the action-; in the other projection, different people hook me adjectives with which people from different social groups to which I belong to, have defined me. For this last video, I made a collection process of adjectives in my social environment during the months of May and June 2013. The labels on my face function as a sum of knowledge that will serve the viewer to identify me. Plucking them, removing the mask, becomes a cathartic act, in a return to the tabula rasa on which to continue building. The construction of identity is a complex, multidimensional and continually unfinished process.
