	Sunlight flashing on closed eyes. You press on the lids in delicious release, creating abstract patterns. The light flashing through the leaves hypnotizes you. A moment is frozen in time as sunlight flashes bright, blinding you. You allow yourself to dissolve in the moment, feeling hot sun on your face. White out of vision transports your senses until you gradually return once again to be hypnotized anew by the beauty of the shimmering sun filtered through the leaves. Science info: • A phosphine is the perception of light without light actually entering the eye, for instance caused by pressure applied to the closed eyes. • Entoptic phenomena are visual effects whose source is within the eye itself. Because entoptic images are caused by phenomena within the observer's own eye, they share one feature with optical illusions and hallucinations: the observer cannot share a direct and specific view of the phenomenon with others. Helmholtz comments on phenomena which could be seen easily by some observers, but could not be seen at all by others. This variance is not surprising because the specific aspects of the eye that produce these images are unique
